Home of Record Project- Housing for Veterans

Our mission is to provide comprehensive housing assistance, financial stability grants, and social support services to veterans in need. We aim to fill the gaps where state and federal resources fall short, helping veterans regain stability, improve their overall well-being, and reintegrate into society as valued and empowered individuals.

Arizona’s escalating eviction and foreclosure rates, driven by a shortage of affordable housing, low wages, and rising rents, and the large number of homeless veterans in Maricopa County underscore the urgent need for intervention, as highlighted in the 2024 Homelessness in Arizona Annual Report.

The Home of Record Project has been awarded $100,000 from the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services to launch Operation Vanguard, our latest initiative in transitional housing for homeless veterans.

This funding is a testament to the trust we’ve built within the community and reinforces our mission to provide stable housing and tailored support for those who’ve served. With this incredible support, we’re expanding our impact and helping more veterans find the path to long-term stability.

Transitional Housing

Comprehensive housing assistance in the form of bridge housing that enables veterans to have a safe and stable environment to get back on their feet.

Financial Stability Grants

Financial Stability Grants offer monetary aid to keep a veteran in their home and prevent eviction and crisis for veterans at risk of homelessness.

Social Support Services

Social Services provide wrap-around care for veterans who have various needs and don’t know where to start or how to get help. Navigating these services can be time consuming and stressful. HRP’s social services can help guide veterans through this process and connect them with resources that actually help.
